Accessibility Statement
Rockstone’s commitment to an accessible website and digital recruitment journey
CONFORMANCE STATUSRockstone is working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. A formal accessibility audit has not yet been completed, so Rockstone does not currently claim full or partial conformance.
Commitment
Rockstone wants people to be able to access information, enquire about services and participate in recruitment regardless of disability, technology or method of interaction. Accessibility is considered in design, content, procurement, development and change control.
Measures in place
- use clear headings, meaningful link text, readable contrast and keyboard-operable controls;
- provide text alternatives for informative images and avoid relying on colour alone;
- use labelled form fields, helpful validation and accessible error messages;
- support zoom, reflow, common assistive technologies and reduced-motion preferences where technically feasible;
- caption or otherwise provide alternatives for multimedia where required; and
- include accessibility checks in content and website release processes.
Current limitations
Because the formal audit is pending, some legacy pages, embedded third-party tools or downloadable documents may not yet meet every WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criterion. Rockstone will publish specific known limitations, affected content, workarounds and target dates after testing. Critical application or contact functions should not depend on an inaccessible route.
Recruitment adjustments and alternative formats
Applicants may request a reasonable adjustment or an alternative way to receive information, communicate, apply, interview or complete an assessment. A request will not disadvantage the applicant. Do not include unnecessary medical details; describe the adjustment needed, and Rockstone will discuss an appropriate solution confidentially.
Feedback and response
If you cannot access content or a service, email info@rockstoneengineering.com with the page or document, the problem, the technology used if you are comfortable providing it, and the format or adjustment required. Rockstone aims to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days and provide a substantive response or progress update within five business days.
Assessment and review
The website owner must complete automated and manual checks, including keyboard, zoom/reflow, focus, form, screen-reader and mobile testing, before claiming conformance. Third-party components are included in scope. This statement is reviewed after a material redesign, when a significant barrier is found, and at least annually.
Escalation
If the initial response does not resolve the issue, ask for escalation to a Rockstone director. This process does not limit any right to contact an equality, disability, consumer or regulatory body with jurisdiction over the matter.
Contact
Questions, requests or accessibility feedback may be sent to info@rockstoneengineering.com. Please state which Rockstone entity, role, application, project or website interaction your request concerns. Rockstone will route it to the responsible team and entity.
